The Passionate Dancer To His Love

A parody of Christopher Marlowe’s The Passionate Shepherd to his Love.

Come dance with me and be my love

And I will give you everything that I have.

With the sound of music, we will groove

and I’ll even show you my Antonio Banderas move.

We will do waltz under the moonlight

or do some hardcore cha-cha all night.

If you want, we can tango until dawn

then switch to samba by noon.

Come live with me and be my lover

We can do boogie when we get hyper.

The dance floor will be all ours to take.

The spotlight will follow every move we make.
