There are more than 200 known species of Strigiformes (Owls). They are solitary and nocturnal birds of prey. They are found in all continents except Antarctica hunting small mammals, birds and insects. They may look mean but if you analyze closely each species body anatomy you will be surprised to find out that owls are indeed beautiful birds. A list of popular big cats.

Cat species in the genus Panthera that include: tiger, lion, leopard and jaguar are commonly called as big cat. Also in this species are cougar, snow leopard, clouded leopard and cheetah. One main trait these cats have that other smaller cats don’t possess is their ability to roar.

Though big cats may differ in sizes and physical appearances, all exhibit similar behavior. All cats are carnivores or meat-eater and are efficient predators. Big cats are found mostly in Africa, Asia, Europe and America.

Finger Monkey

One for the Guinness Book of Records, a monkey the size of a human finger! Yes, you read it right. The name of this primate – Finger Monkey or the pygmy marmoset. Native to rain forests of South America, this tiny finger monkey or “pocket monkey” when fully grown measures only 5 inches (head and body) with 8-9 inches black-ringed tail. Adults weigh around 5 ounces. Finger monkey has almond-shaped eyes and a furry body. The finger monkey is an omnivorous, feeding on fruits, leaves, insects, small lizards, as well as small invertebrate. These highly sociable primates have a life span of 11 to 15 years. Warning! Don’t be deceived by finger monkeys’ cuteness! If provoked, they will counter by using their extremely sharp claws on you. Enough of the introduction, it’s about time to present these tiny but mighty finger monkeys.

What’s Bad About Being a Laundry Man?

It’s not one’s position that matters, but how well you love and enjoy your career.

In an alumni reunion, again I met

Three J’s whom friendship I shared

“I’m a respected judge,” boasted Jet

“Me a doctor, I’m a principal,’ Jake and Jon uttered.

“And you?” the trio inquired

“A laundry man”, is my quick reply

My friends were shocked and surprised

In disbelief they chorused, “Why o Why.”

My neighbor has a parrot that’s smart
He is a passers-by delight
He take his mimicking as an art
As usual he gets the limelight.

Out of curiosity
I pass-by my neighbor’s gate
The parrot look at me as I wait
Then he tells me “ You’re ugly”.
